Navarre Beach

These are all pictures from our spring trip to Navarre beach. We were there with 3 other families and had a great time. It was amazing seeing all of the destruction the hurricanes did a few years ago - most of these pics are from a huge sand pile next to the house, made from the sand they moved when they unburied the roads. Sam was there - really! He was just having too much fun to slow down for pictures!

Our family on the 4th of July!

We LOVE the 4th of July!!

On the 4th of July we found the perfect parade watching spot, just seconds from where we parked the van. While we were waiting for it to begin, Sam met the policeman blocking the road and he suggested we just pull our van right up to the parade route - SCORE! He also let Sam sit in his police car and blare the siren. Too Cool! Nic loved watching all the dogs that were there with their owners for the parade - just about as much as he loved the parade. Dad and Sam kept yelling "Hi princess _______" each time a beauty queen rode by with her name plastered on the side of her car. They loved that. And no one threw us any candy. Next year we're bringing our own and throwing it at the paraders! After the parade we played in the fountain at the city square, and Nic and Sam danced to the live music. It was a great morning. We went to a bbq at a friends home for dinner armed with our homemade icecream, and watched the fireworks that night, rounding out a perfect day!

Father's Day

Happy Father's Day Dad! We had a small celebration at home with the boys - and they provided wonderful entertainment! Just eating the cake and icecream was a blast.

Strawberry Picking

In May the strawberries are just right for pickin' and eatin'. We had our own Strawberry Saturday. Strawberry pie, strawberry jam, strawberry icecream, strawberries and cream, strawberries, strawberries, strawberries!
